Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 eggs
- 200 g sugar
- 125 g butter or margarine
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
- 2 tbsp semolina (wheat semolina)
- 1 kg quark (low-fat)
- e.g. lemon juice
- e.g. raisins
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Mecklenburg cheesecake
Combine all ingredients one at a time in a mixing bowl and mix to form a batter. Grease a springform pan and line the pan with semolina. Pour the mixture into the springform pan and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C on the fourth rack until golden brown, about one hour. Once cooled slightly, remove from the pan and serve lukewarm. Editor’s note: Due to numerous comments suggesting using less sugar, and because he also prefers the cake with less sugar, witchmaster asked us to reduce the sugar quantity from 375g to 200g.
