Grandma's butter crumble

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • ½ packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 250 g flour
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice (or 2 tbsp lemon juice concentrate)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg yolks in a bowl. Beat with the dough hook of a mixer until smooth and add the juice of half a lemon. Sift the flour with the baking powder. Add and knead vigorously with the dough hook. Continue kneading until the crumbles form. This amount is enough for one baking tray full and pairs perfectly with any type of fruit cake. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
