Ulzburger sour cream meatballs

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 2 eggs
  • 15 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 200 g onion(s) (fried onions)
  • 3 small onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 5 tbsp mustard (Dijon honey mustard, well heaped tbsp)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Flour for turning

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Meatballs with sour cream and fried onions

Knead the ground beef with eggs, breadcrumbs, fried onions, diced onions, sour cream, and honey mustard until well combined. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar to taste. Form the ground beef into patties and coat each briefly in flour on both sides. Then fry in batches in a heated pan. Serve with fresh wheat bread and quartered tomatoes. Makes about 15 patties.
