from Nepal, with roasted peanuts

Bring the water to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan and stir in the sugar. Mix well and simmer until the sugar has dissolved. This should take about 2 minutes. In the meantime, melt the margarine in a large saucepan and fry the peanuts in it for about 3 minutes. Then add the flour and sweat for about 2 minutes. Stir well so that the flour is well mixed with the margarine. Remove the pan from the heat and gradually add the sugar water. Return the pan to the stovetop and stir everything until the water is completely absorbed by the flour. Using 2 tablespoons, form small dumplings from the mixture and place them on plates. Finally, simply sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
