Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 Maultaschen
- 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
- 1 pack of mozzarella
- 2 stalks of fresh basil
- some garlic
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
The Swabian classic with a twist
Place the tomatoes in a bowl. Finely chop the basil leaves and add them. Season with garlic, salt, and pepper. Place the Maultaschen in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them. Slice the mozzarella and place it on top. Bake at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for about half an hour.
