Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g pasta
  • 280 g peas from the can
  • 200 g Leberkäse
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml tomato(s), pureed or tomato sauce
  • 150 ml cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • paprika
  • 70 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • 1 bag of gratin cheese
  • 10 ml chicken stock

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Pasta casserole with meatloaf and peas

Cook the pasta in salted water, then drain. Fry the meatloaf in slices, then cut into cubes. Drain the peas. Combine these ingredients with the Parmesan cheese in a greased casserole dish. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, chicken stock, and passata and season to taste. Spread evenly over the casserole. Sprinkle with the gratin cheese and bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Serve with a green salad.
