Maultaschen in marjoram cream à la Fibi

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 6 Maultasche(s) (refrigerated counter)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white, freshly ground
  • 25 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Halve the onion and slice into rings. Peel and finely dice the garlic. Cut the Maultaschen into approximately 0.5cm thin strips. Briefly sauté the onion and garlic in a pan with melted butter. Add the Maultaschen and marjoram and cook for 12-15 minutes over medium heat. Add the sour and sweet cream and simmer until thickened, if desired. Finally, season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
