Meatloaf with banana

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 slice(s) toast bread, soaked and squeezed
  • 1 banana(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 jar red cabbage
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • some nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the minced meat with the finely chopped onion and the soaked and squeezed-out bread, season with salt and pepper, and knead thoroughly. Flatten the dough, place the banana inside, wrap it in the minced meat, and shape it into a loaf. Place in the oven and bake for 30-45 minutes. Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water until tender. Simmer the red cabbage with the cored and finely chopped apple, a pinch of cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg, and season with salt and pepper. Serve everything together. We always enjoy eating this at Christmas.
