Leberkäse and mushroom pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g Leberkäse
  • 5 onions
  • 3 red bell peppers
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • ¾ ml broth
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • salt and pepper
  • paprika

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the Leberkäse into cubes. Slice the onions into thin rings, the bell peppers into thin strips, and the mushrooms into slices. Brown the Leberkäse in a little oil, then add the onions and sauté. Then add the bell peppers and mushrooms and sauté for about 20 minutes. Add the tomato paste and sift the flour over the meat. Stir and deglaze with the broth. Simmer for 20 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Spätzle goes well with this dish.
