Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 30 g yeast
  • 250 ml milk
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 125 g raisins
  • Cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • 30 g butter, liquid

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Prepare a yeast dough from all ingredients. Shape the dough into small rolls. Make a small cross-shaped incision on the top and spread thickly with melted butter. Let the rolls rise once more on a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C on the middle rack until golden brown. Rolls are especially delicious sliced, spread with butter and apple sauce, and topped with a slice of pumpernickel.
