Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g flour (wheat flour type 1050)
  • 250 g rye, coarsely ground
  • 250 g wheat, coarsely ground
  • 100 g flaxseed
  • 100 g sesame seeds
  • 150 g sunflower seeds
  • 175 g beetroot
  • 1 liter buttermilk, 30 degrees warm
  • 3 cubes of yeast, fresh
  • 1 ½ tbsp sea salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Stir all ingredients into the buttermilk and bake at approximately 150 degrees Celsius for 2–2.5 hours. Place a bowl of water in the oven. You can try adding pumpkin seeds, millet, nuts, and other grains, such as oats, barley, or spelt. Increase the amount of yeast if necessary.
