Spicy mango salsa

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 mango(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 pepper, red
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3 spring onions
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • e.g. chili sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Peel the mango, cut through the core, and finely dice. Deseed and finely dice the tomatoes, bell peppers, and chili peppers. Clean the spring onions, halve them lengthwise, and slice them into thin rings. Combine the ingredients. Finely chop or press in the garlic and season with salt, pepper, sugar, and lime juice. Add olive oil and mix well. Let it simmer for a while and adjust the seasoning later if necessary. Add chili sauce for your desired spiciness. The salsa tastes great with grilled meat or simply as a dip for nachos.
