- 1 kg Kassler cutlet
- 1 tablespoon Lard
- 0,5 head White cabbage
- 5 small Carrots
- 5 small Onions
- 2 Juniper berries
- 1 Bay leaf
- 0,25 liter Vegetable broth
- Salt pepper
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- Clean the cabbage, remove dead leaves and cut into sixths. Remove the stalk, but only enough to hold the pieces together. Peel the carrots, cut in half lengthways and crossways. Peel the onions but leave them whole.
- Pepper the meat and fry it in lard on all sides. Deglaze with the broth and add the vegetables. Braise in the oven at 160 ° C O / U heat for about 2 hours.
