Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g wheat flour (wholemeal)
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g honey
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 10 g vanilla sugar (bourbon)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Whole grain version

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead into a dough. Chill the dough overnight. The next day, roll into finger-thick strands, cut off 4 cm pieces, and shape into croissants. Place the croissants on a baking sheet and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes. Then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
