Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g quark
- 250 g flour
- 50 g butter, soft
- 50 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 100 g chocolate, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
First, chop the chocolate bar into small pieces. (Any chocolate will do.) Place it in a bowl and add the flour and baking powder. Crack the eggs into a second bowl and add the salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Beat everything on high speed for a good 3 minutes until a light and creamy mixture forms. Then add the softened, but not melted, butter and continue beating vigorously. Now add the quark and stir briefly again (it’s best to use a spoon here). Finally, add the flour and chocolate mixture and stir vigorously until everything is well combined. (The dough should be a little moister.) Now grease a baking tray thoroughly or line it with baking paper. Cut out the dough with a tablespoon and place 8 large or 10 smaller rolls on the baking paper. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat) or 180°C (convection oven). (Please check after about 15 minutes if the rolls are already slightly dark, turn off the oven and take the rolls out) Let the rolls rest on the baking tray for another 5 minutes after the baking time has ended!
