Beef with peanut sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g beef steak(s), approx.
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 red chili pepper(s)
  • 1 can coconut milk, unsweetened (approx. 400 ml)
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter with pieces
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 100 ml meat broth, possibly instant
  • 1 tsp curry paste, red
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Asian beef steak

Clean the bell peppers and cut them into approximately 2 cm thick strips. Peel the onion and cut it into eighths. Thinly slice the beef and fry them in a wok with a little oil. Add the onions and bell peppers and deglaze with coconut milk. Finely chop the chili pepper and add it. Now add the peanut butter, soy sauce, and curry paste to the sauce. Stir in enough stock until the desired consistency is reached. Cook for about another 10 minutes, adding chili powder for a spicier flavor if desired.
