Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g fennel, with green
- 165 g breadcrumbs
- ½ pack of cheese (sticks)
- 2 eggs
- 50 g butter
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Trim, wash, and quarter the fennel, reserving the fennel greens. Cook the fennel in salted water for 8 minutes, then remove. Whisk the eggs and season. Toss the fennel pieces in the water, then fry in breadcrumbs and hot butter until golden brown. Chop the fennel greens, arrange the fennel pieces on the plate, sprinkle with cheese, and garnish with greens.
