Tarte flambée with soft cheese, asparagus and chanterelles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 280 g tarte flambée dough, from the refrigerated section
  • 1 jar asparagus, approx. 200 g
  • 1 can of chanterelles, approx. 290 g
  • 1 large onion(s), red
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 250 g crème fraîche
  • salt and pepper
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 125 g mozzarella or other soft cheese
  • some chives or other fresh herbs

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Roll out the tarte flambée dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Drain the chanterelles and asparagus and dry slightly. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Cut the mozzarella into thirds and thinly slice. Slice the red onion into thin rings. Season the crème fraîche with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Spread the mixture over the tarte flambée dough and top with the chanterelles, asparagus, halved cherry tomatoes, and onion rings. Bake the tarte flambée in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 12 minutes until crispy (baking time may vary depending on the type of oven). After baking, garnish with fresh herbs or chives. Approx. 730 kcal per serving.
