Pancakes from the contact grill

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 200 g flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

easy and fast

Whisk the eggs. Whisk the flour and milk until smooth. Stir in the eggs one at a time. Stir in the salt and, for sweet pancakes, the sugar and vanilla sugar. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. Preheat a contact grill to level 4. Spread the batter evenly on both grill surfaces, flipping briefly, and you’re done. With the contact grill I use, I can cook 8-12 pancakes in one go. It’s easy, quick, low-fat, and requires little effort. You don’t need oil; that’s not necessary with this contact grill.
