Five-grain porridge with pomegranate and blueberries

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml milk
  • 40 g flakes (five-grain flakes)
  • 5 g butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 60 g blueberries (wild blueberries)
  • 60 g pomegranate seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Bring the milk, five-grain flakes, and butter to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Then, turn off the stovetop and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with honey and cinnamon. Place the blueberries in a bowl or glass, top with the warm porridge, and then top with the pomegranate seeds. Makes one large serving or two small servings. Using 0.1% fat milk, this recipe has 320 kcal.
