Ingredients for 9 servings:

  • 220 g oat flakes
  • 60 g dried cherries, chopped (or cranberries)
  • 60 g date(s), chopped
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 100 g almond butter
  • 4 tbsp Flour (hemp or flax flour)
  • 110 g applesauce, unsweetened
  • 100 g syrup (maple or agave syrup)
  • 3 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), pulp

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Snack against cravings, WITHOUT added sugar

Combine the oats, cherries, dates, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in the almond butter, flour, applesauce, honey, orange juice, and vanilla seeds. Carefully fold the mixture into the oat mixture. Pour the batter into a greased, square baking or casserole dish and bake at 175°C (350°F fan-assisted oven at 155°C) for about 30 minutes. Let cool and cut into pieces.
