Sugar-free baby biscuits

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 small bananas, ripe
  • 50 g butter, melted
  • 150 g oat flakes, fine
  • 100 g flour, whole grain
  • possibly water

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

from 10 months, makes approx. 30 pieces.

Mash the bananas and mix with the other ingredients. The amounts for flakes and flour are approximate. The exact amount is less important than the consistency. The mixture should be mushy enough that you can easily form them into balls in your hand, flatten them, and spread them on a baking sheet without too much sticking to your fingers. Add a little water if necessary. The cookies won’t rise, so place them close together. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes. Let them cool, and you’re done. I always store the cookies in a cookie tin; they keep well there. The added fat is important for the energy content of the meal, as otherwise the baby will quickly get hungry again. Sugar is not necessary, however. The cookies have a natural sweetness from the fruit. I baked these cookies for my son as an afternoon snack. My husband really likes them, too. Next time I’ll try them with raisins or dried fruit.
