Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 jar fruit puree (baby fruit jar) 190 g
- 20 g desiccated coconut
- 100 g millet flakes
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes
Mix the contents of the fruit jar with desiccated coconut and millet flakes to form a tough dough. Using a teaspoon, place small heaps onto a baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes at 160°C (320°F) using conventional heat. The cookies are easy for your baby to hold. They’re so soft that they’re safe to eat even without teeth. Variation: I’ve also used oat flakes and leftover instant cereal (e.g., 5-grain or spelt). This recipe is perfect for using up jars of fruit when your baby isn’t so keen on puree anymore. It’s also perfect as a take-away fruit snack.
