Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g fig(s), ripe, without stems and quartered
  • 500 g mango(s), ripe, in pieces
  • 500 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pack of Gelfix, 1:2
  • 4 drops of vanilla flavoring (butter vanilla flavoring)
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 2 tbsp Amaretto, if you like

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes

Place the prepared fruit pieces in a tall saucepan. Using a hand blender, chop the fruit to your liking. Combine the sugar, cinnamon, and gelatin, and mix with the fruit. Add the butter vanilla flavoring and the juice of half a lemon. Heat the mixture while stirring and boil gently for 3 minutes, then pour into freshly rinsed twist-off jars. Seal tightly and turn upside down for 5 minutes. If desired, you can add two tablespoons of Amaretto at the end of the cooking time.
