Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg cherry(s), pitted
  • 1 kg banana(s), peeled, sliced
  • 2 kg gelling sugar 1:1
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • clove(s), ground
  • 4 tbsp cherry brandy

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Combine the cherries, peeled, sliced ​​bananas, clove powder, cinnamon, and cherry brandy and puree. Bring to a boil in a saucepan for about 5 minutes, add the preserving sugar, and simmer for another 4 minutes. Then fill the jam into jars. Chef’s recipe editor’s note: The recipe originally called for 1 packet of preserving agent. We’ve removed this, as the sugar is sufficient for preserving.
