Gratinated mushrooms

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large mushrooms
  • 200 g spinach, young, fresh
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 sprig(s) of thyme
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 tbsp cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Clean the mushrooms, break off the stems, and enlarge the hole a little. If necessary, tear off the thyme and roughly chop it. Clean the onion and garlic and dice them. If you prefer less garlicky flavor, just halve the clove. Then fry the onions and garlic in a pan with butter. Add the spinach and heat briefly until it collapses. Season with thyme, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Place the mushrooms in a gratin dish, season with salt and pepper, fill with the spinach, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 10-15 minutes. Note about the video: Two other mushroom recipes are shown here.
