The perfect meatball

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ½ stale bread roll (soaked in water)
  • 2 sprigs of parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • Clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely chop the parsley. Finely chop the garlic. Place the minced meat in a bowl. Add the well-squeezed bread roll, egg, garlic, pine nuts, mustard, parsley, salt, and pepper, and mix. Season to taste. Divide into four portions and shape them with wet hands. Fry slowly on both sides in a pan with clarified butter until browned. Tip: This is Carsten’s “perfect meatball”—of course, you can also vary the meatballs to your taste by adding onions and bacon, other spices and herbs, and breadcrumbs or oatmeal instead of the soaked bread roll to create your own “perfect meatball”! Four meatballs each have 316 kcal.
