Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g Emmental cheese
- 100 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 150 g breadcrumbs, fresh or breadcrumbs
- 100 g lard
- 2 pinches of salt
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 pinch(s) paprika powder

delicious as a vegetarian main course
Remove the rind from the fresh Emmental cheese and cut into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Mix the eggs with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dip the Emmental slices first in the egg mixture and then in the breadcrumbs. Heat the fat in a pan and fry the Emmental slices for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
