Shepherd's cheese balls

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 50 g flour
  • 2 m.-large tomato(s)
  • 1 pack of feta cheese (shepherd’s cheese)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Oil or liquid margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Dice the feta cheese. Remove the insides of the tomatoes and finely dice the flesh. Dice the onions very finely. Place everything in a bowl, add the flour, and mix everything together. Knead vigorously until you get a pliable mass, like meatballs. Then form into small balls. Heat a pan to high heat and add oil or melted margarine. Fry the feta cheese balls until golden brown on all sides. It’s important to keep them moving in the pan so they don’t stick. This goes well with any kind of salad.
