Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g minced meat (beef mince), fine
  • 100 g Cheddar cheese
  • 100 ml milk
  • 8 slices of processed cheese
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 rolls, burger
  • e.g. leaf lettuce
  • e.g. chili sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Pickled gherkin(s)
  • n. B. onion(s)
  • e.g. tomato(s)

with chili cheese sauce

Crumble the cheddar and processed cheese into a microwave-safe bowl with mayo, chili sauce (optional or 1 tablespoon), and milk. Place the mixture in the microwave. Heat briefly and stir occasionally. Once the sauce is ready, refrigerate briefly. Wash the lettuce leaves and cut into short strips. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into four small patties. Pan-fry them until cooked through or grill them. Turn over and place a slice of processed cheese on top and let it melt. Cut open the burger buns (if you’re grilling, you can briefly place the buns on top), spread the cheese sauce on the bottom half, and arrange the lettuce on top. Add the meat. Top with sliced ​​onions, tomatoes, or cucumbers, if desired. They also taste good cold.
