Bean marble cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g beans (long beans) from the can
  • 250 g kidney beans from the can
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 15 g baking cocoa
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 20 g wholemeal flour
  • some milk
  • some vanilla
  • some honey or sweetener instead of 150 – 200 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

For the light batter, drain the white long beans and puree them with 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 egg, 10g wholemeal flour, vanilla, and a little sweetener of your choice. For the dark batter, puree the kidney beans with 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 egg, 10g wholemeal flour, cocoa, cinnamon, a dash of milk if desired, and a little sweetener of your choice in a second container. First, pour the dark batter into a cake tin. Then spread the light batter over it and tuck it in with a fork. Now bake the marble cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 50 minutes. Let the cake cool completely, turn it out, and enjoy.
