Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg plum(s) (preferably home-grown plums)
  • 600 ml red wine
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 5 cloves
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup water, (n. B.)

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Wash and pit the plums, and cut them in half. Place the plums in a saucepan, add the wine and other ingredients, bring to a boil, and then simmer for about 5-10 minutes. Add a cup of water if needed. Then fill the plums into prepared twist-off jars and seal immediately. Tip: Instead of cinnamon and cloves, you can also use 1 level teaspoon of gingerbread spice.
