Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 bag of potato chips or tortilla chips, variety of your choice
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- e.g. milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper additional if using tortilla chips
- 2 cups flour
- 2 kg frying oil

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes
With potato chip or tortilla chip breading, mild or spicy
Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces (nuggets). Process the chips into breadcrumbs, e.g., in a blender. Season the egg with the milk, salt, pepper, paprika—and, for tortilla chips, also with cayenne pepper. First coat the chicken pieces in flour and shake them off. Then coat them in the seasoned egg and finally place them in a large freezer bag with the chip flour. Shake the bag vigorously and press firmly to ensure the chicken pieces are coated all over. Deep-fry for 6 to 8 minutes at 160°C and drain on kitchen paper.
