Chicken fillets with cheese topping

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 chicken breast fillets
  • 125 ml cream
  • 4 slices of butter cheese
  • 1 cup of cream cheese with herbs of Provence
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Wine
  • Basil, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Low-carb

Wash the fillets, pat dry, and sear on both sides in hot oil. Season and remove. Bring the meat to a boil with a splash of wine and the cream, then season with salt and pepper. Halve the cheese slices. Wash the basil and pick off the leaves. Place the sauce and fillets in a baking dish. Spread the cream cheese over the fillets. Arrange the basil on top and top with the buttered cheese, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 15-20 minutes.
