Cranberry-pear jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1,000 g pear(s), fresh
  • 300 g cranberries (frozen)
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 bag of gelling sugar, 3:1 (500 g)
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 tsp. clove powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash, peel, core, and quarter the fresh pears. Place the frozen cranberries in a saucepan with the pears, spices, and lemon juice. Add the gelling sugar (3:1) and let it draw juice. Then, according to the instructions on the bag, bring to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes. Then pour into rinsed, hot twist-off jars and seal immediately. Briefly turn upside down (5-8 minutes), then turn inside out and let cool.
