Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg gyros meat, seasoned, with onions
- 500 g broccoli
- 3 large bell peppers, yellow, red, green
- 250 g cocktail tomatoes
- 250 g sheep’s cheese
- 400 ml cream
- 100 g cream cheese spread
- 50 g parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Fry the gyro meat in a pan, then add the cream and melted cheese after about 10 minutes. Arrange the raw broccoli in a large casserole dish, slice the bell peppers, and scatter them on top. Pour the sauce over the meat and cut the feta cheese into small pieces. Arrange the feta cheese and cherry tomatoes on top. Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
