Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 slices of whole-grain toast
  • 400 ml soy milk (soy drink), vanilla flavor
  • 4 tbsp, heaped flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine soy milk, flour, cinnamon, and salt in a shallow bowl. Place the toast slices in the liquid and soak completely on both sides. Fry the soaked toast slices in a hot pan with oil until well browned on both sides. Optionally, serve the French toast with banana slices, maple syrup, and vanilla soy milk.
