Baked tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 m.-sized tomatoes
  • 100 g herb butter
  • 7 tbsp breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

quick and easy – as a side dish or party snack

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Knead the breadcrumbs and herb butter together. Wash the tomatoes, halve them, and coat them with the crumb mixture. Then bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. I usually make these tomatoes as a side dish when I have something else in the oven: They cook quickly, add a splash of color to the plate, and the oven is already warm anyway.
