Cucumber and tomato salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tomatoes, quartered
  • ½ cucumber(s), half slices
  • 1 onion(s), 1/4 rings
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. lemon juice, 1 – 2 dashes
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • n. B. chives
  • Parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the tomatoes into eighths and place them in a bowl. Cut the cucumbers into half slices and add them. Cut the onion into 1/4 rings. Add salt, pepper, and sugar, along with a squeeze or two of lemon juice and a tablespoon of oil. Then add the chives and parsley. Let stand for 5 minutes, then season to taste. Serve immediately.
