Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 50 g Pecorino with arugula or another semi-hard cheese
  • 4 slices of raw ham
  • some olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash, dry, and quarter the peppers. Cut the cheese into small cubes, and trim the bacon from the ham slices and cut them into strips. Grease a dish with olive oil and place the pepper quarters in it. Alternate the cheese and ham between the peppers. Place in the oven at approximately 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit)—after about 20 minutes, increase the top heat again if necessary. The pepper pieces are a wonderful side dish to grilled or pan-fried dishes.
