Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g oat flakes, fine or coarse, according to taste
  • 1 pinch of vanilla, real, ground
  • 1 tbsp cranberries, dried
  • 1 m.-large banana(s), ripe
  • 200 ml buttermilk, organic

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 10 minutes

fresh porridge with banana and cranberries

Cut the banana into small pieces and place it in a large screw-top jar, such as a 420 ml jar, along with the oats, vanilla, and cranberries. Add the buttermilk, mix well, and refrigerate overnight. Stir again the next morning and enjoy. Notes: You may need a little more buttermilk. This always depends on the oats you use. I don’t use any additional sweetener for the overnight oats because the cranberries and banana are sweet enough for me. If you prefer it sweeter, you can sweeten the overnight oats to taste.
