Gratinated fillet slices

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ pkt. leaf spinach, frozen, 225 g
  • 1 pork fillet(s), approx. 350 g
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 8 slice(s) cheese (raclette or Comtè)
  • 1 baguette(s), approx. 200 g
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Quick cooking, small snack or even for guests

Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté the onion and garlic. Add the spinach (still thawed) and 8 tablespoons of water. Cover and sauté for 10-15 minutes. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Pat the fillet dry, cut into 8 slices, and fry for about 2 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan. Remove the rind from the cheese. Cut the bread into 8 diagonal slices and place on a baking sheet. Stir the crème fraîche into the spinach. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste. Top the bread with the spinach, fillet, and cheese. Grill for 2-3 minutes or bake in a preheated oven at the highest setting for about 5 minutes.
