delicious snack for in between

Mix together the oats, nuts, wheat bran, and all other dry ingredients. Chop the dried plums into small pieces. Heat the milk in a saucepan, but do not boil, and dissolve the honey in it. Then add the plums and the muesli mix to the milk, remove the pan from the heat, and stir well. Add a pinch of cinnamon. Take a handful of the mixture and press it firmly together to form balls about the size of ping-pong balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at approximately 165°C (329°F) using top and bottom heat for about 10-15 minutes. You can always vary the ingredients; dried apricots work well, as do flaxseeds. The ratio of nuts, oats, wheat bran, and fruit just has to be right so that the mixture holds together nicely. A perfect treat for kids who don’t just like Milchschnitte and Fruchtzwerg.
