Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g carrot(s), coarsely diced
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 1 garlic clove(s), diced
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 bunch of herbs, fresh as desired, weighed
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- turmeric
- Pepper, freshly ground
- some water
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel the carrots and quarter them lengthwise. Then cut them into bite-sized pieces. Finely dice the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a saucepan and then sauté the onion and garlic. Add the carrots, sauté briefly, and season. Reduce the heat to low. Add a small splash of water to the pan and cover. Cook for about 15 minutes. The carrots should still have some bite. Finally, stir in the herbs (e.g., parsley, dill, cress, chervil, chives, borage, burnet burnet, sorrel).
