Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 pack of puff pastry, rolled out rectangular
- 1 red bell pepper(s)
- 1 small chili pepper(s)
- 150 g ham (back ham)
- 12 large mushrooms
- 1 large onion(s)
- 3 large garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp cheese (Emmental grated cheese)
- 1 egg yolk for brushing
- a little olive oil
- little wine, red
- salt and pepper
- Cayenne pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Finely chop the onion, press the garlic, and fry both in a little olive oil. Also finely chop the mushrooms, bell pepper, chili pepper, and ham and fry them until the mushrooms are nicely browned. Season to taste. Then deglaze with a little red wine and continue frying until the alcohol has evaporated. Sprinkle in the grated cheese and remove from the heat. Mix everything together and let it cool slightly. Cut the puff pastry into squares and place the filling on one half. Join the squares together to form pockets (I add a little egg to the edges and press them together with a fork) and brush with egg yolk. Then bake in the preheated oven at 220 degrees (fan oven) on the middle rack until golden brown. Delicious with a fresh salad.
