Party cheese roll

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 pkt. cheese (Gouda or Emmental), 8 slices
  • 200 g processed cheese
  • 100 g butter
  • 3 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 3 slices of cooked ham
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 25 minutes

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the cheese on the paper to form a sheet, slightly overlapping the slices. Place in the oven at 100°C (top/bottom heat) until the sheet is even. Allow to cool slightly. Melt the butter and cheese spread and allow to cool slightly. Cut the chives, boiled eggs, and ham into very small cubes, season with salt and pepper, and mix with the butter and cheese mixture. Spread the entire mixture on the cheese sheet and roll up starting at the short end. Leave to set in the refrigerator for a few hours. Cut the roll into thin pieces and serve with toast or other bread. Also delicious served on a lettuce leaf as a starter.
