Spaghetti in shrimp and lemon sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 tsp butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 ml cream
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 200 g shrimp(s)
  • basil
  • 200g spaghetti

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Note: The quantities given are for an appetizer; if the dish is being served on its own as a standalone meal, use more! Clean and finely chop the spring onions, and fry them in melted butter. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the cream, vegetable stock, and lemon juice into the pan and allow the liquid to reduce. Sauté the shrimp separately and add them to the sauce at the end when serving. Finally, toss the pasta with the sauce and pile as high as possible on a plate. Serve garnished with basil.
