Puff pastry parcels with minced meat and vegetable filling

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 ml milk
  • 50 g cream cheese
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 2 rolls of dough
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Dice the onion, garlic, tomato, and bell pepper. Sauté in a pan. Then add the ground beef and fry until browned and crumbly. Then add the milk, cream cheese, and tomato paste and mix everything together. Season with pepper and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes. Cut the puff pastry into 12 squares. Place the minced meat mixture from the pan onto 6 squares and top with some cheese. Then cover with the remaining squares, press the edges together, and brush the tops of the parcels with egg. Bake the parcels for 15 minutes at 180°C fan-assisted oven until golden brown.
