Quick caraway potatoes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 10 m.-sized potatoes
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp, sautéed caraway seeds, whole
  • 2 tbsp, leveled sea salt, coarse

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Goes well with grilled meat, but is also delicious as a main course!

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, do not peel them, and cut them in half lengthwise. Grease a casserole dish or baking sheet with olive oil and sprinkle half of the caraway seeds and salt on top. Arrange the potatoes cut-side down on the dish, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with the remaining caraway seeds and salt. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. If you want it to cook faster, cut the potatoes into smaller pieces. This dish goes very well with grilled or pan-fried meat. A herb curd cheese tastes wonderful with it.
