Simple tomato salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 tomatoes
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp basil, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with garlic, onions and basil

Chop the tomatoes and onion into small pieces, finely chop or press the garlic clove. Combine everything in a bowl (along with any remaining tomato juice), season with salt and pepper, and add the basil. Drizzle with oil. I personally use quite a bit of oil, probably 5 tablespoons per 2 tomatoes, but I love the sauce! Serve with fresh baguette or toasted white bread—delicious!
